Arirrki August Update – Challenges, Changes, and What’s Next

In our first member newsletter, we’ve shared an honest look at where things stand for Arirrki Aboriginal Corporation. Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruises is facing vessel repairs, insurance delays, and high costs, but progress is being made to safely move Croc Cat to Darwin. We’re also exploring new business opportunities, though insurance challenges continue to impact expansion plans.

To improve communication and overcome these barriers, we’re launching a new digital platform. This will provide members with regular updates, online support requests, and more transparency than ever before. Financially, we’re in one of our toughest periods, with rising costs, insurance battles, and major repairs, so we’ll be temporarily cutting back on non-essential spending to rebuild reserves—just as we’ve done successfully in the past.
